• Can Cinderite be used with Succulents?

  Yes!  Cinderite is perfect for succulents. You can add to the soil or just top-dress if already potted. ParaBlend is the best product for succulents.

• Can this product be applied with a typical broadcast spreader on a lawn? Or with the irregular shapes and sizes, is it better applied by hand?

  ParaFines can be applied using a spreader due to the fine particulate of the product.  We recommend ParaFines for lawns and courses. ParBlend on the other hand would be best to apply by hand as the larger rock sizes will not fit through a spreader.

• How much coverage will a 12lb bag cover?

  One 12lb bag of Cinderite will cover roughly ~ 50 square feet. Due to Cinderite's low salinity, there is very little risk of using too much. Cinderite will not burn plants.

• If I don't want to re-pot all my house plants, can I just add this on top of the soil? Or is it really only meant to be mixed with the dirt?

  Cinderite can be added as a top dressing to the base of already potted plants.  This will not only renourish the soil but will strengthen the roots of the plant and make it stronger.

• I live in a climate that produces snow in the winter. What is the best time of year to apply it to garden soil? Does it need applied more than once? How does it combat bugs?

  Almost anytime is a good time to apply Cinderite. But if you have a lot of snow where you are located, I would recommend applying before the snow comes.
